Position Overview
As a key player in our web development initiatives, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including the implementation of WordPress themes, builders, and plugins. Your role will focus on a blend of web development and design to create modern, visually appealing and highly functional websites for our clientele.
Our ideal candidate would be experienced in WordPress, has a strong UI/UX understanding and keen attention to detail, is an excellent communicator and problem solver, and can work independently.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and design of WordPress websites, primarily using Elementor builder.
- Design and implement new features and functionalities for WordPress websites.
- Establish and guide the website’s architecture, ensuring streamlined navigation and a user-friendly experience.
- Create and customize themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements.
- Conduct website performance tests and optimize for speed and scalability.
- Maintain a cohesive visual aesthetic across websites by implementing modern design principles and elements.
- Collaborate with the project managemtn team to ensure design consistency and integrity throughout the website.
- Provide technical support and resolve issues related to website performance, scalability, and other aspects.
- Update and maintain existing websites to with general edits, or to incorporate new features or enhancements.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies and design trends to maintain innovation and freshness in our projects.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of work experience designing and developing WordPress websites
- 3+ years of work experience developing WordPress websites using Elementor and other builders
- Knowledge of graphic design principles and techniques
- Experience with WordPress, CSS, HTML, PHP, and Elementor
- Knowledge of DNS
- Understanding of technical on-site SEO best practices
- Excellent visual and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management skills with ability to work within deadline
- Problem-solver who wants to produce to best end-product possible
- Independent worker that communicate well with a team.
- Does not take internal and client feedback personally
